also the platform isnt a decade old either. atleast not in america. unless another car was on the focus platform before i dont know. but i know it was developed of the focus and not used before that.

even if it is a decade old its not that freaking old. how often do people want fully re engineered platforms.

It was released in late 1998 as a 1999 model in Europe, then released here in late '99 as a 2000 model. So yeah, the platform is almost 10 years old.

BAD chaz! You should know all it takes is one undisputed false post by a senior member to start a wildfire of idiocy.

Cool Re: Street Tuner Challenge season 3

The new focus only looks good because focussport made it look like a cross between a mustang and a dodge or something.

By giving it a lip kit and painting the grille black?

So are you from Team Fireball or Skunk2?

Guys, we all have our opinions. I hear many different thoughts on how we made it look and what the cars now look like.

I piled up all the episodes on my DVR and just was able to sit down and watch them all at once today.

Congrats Randy and the Focussport team. It was interesting that the only real figures the show gave were the Dyno numbers, no real track times or braking results. I agree with most in this thread that the Focus did fit the guidelines the best and looked pretty good... for an 08'.... .

I wouldn't blame the other boards if they criticized the show for just pulling you guys as winners out of a hat.... All the previous numbers and such didn't seem to really matter hehe....

But again HUGE CONGRATS, you guys deserved it and were clearly the most professional team of the bunch.
