It's a Focus .... has some color on it .... and some nice wheels...

If he could really give information, you think they would have any problems with him giving up the image?

Yeah, well as someone who makes their living providing digital services, I'm all about the proper vetting of other people's work.

I've contacted the producer again about possible options for those that don't have SPEED.

Oh I agree.

And it would be 100% in Speed and the production company's best interest to allow members of this site to either stream or download the show.

But with the misguided beliefs that Fox (the parent of Speed) and all major media companies hold... it isn't likely to happen.

I wonder if you could purcase it on iTunes? I would be willing to bet the majority of people on here who don't have Speed would pay $1.00 to watch the show.

Doubt it....

Sadly since its a national show they could just encode it as a podcast with national advertising and or even special advertising just for the web crowd and make some more money on the side likes tons of other smaller groups already do. Sadly these major networks are all backwards thinkers.....

Also a torrent could go up with commercials and it would be no different than people who've recorded the show on their DVR's.

It all comes down to how the contracts are structured. Many TV shows are available on iTunes, including Fox properties. The problem is just that SPEED is not onboard.

And, if they were, the cost would be $1.99, not $1.00, just to clarify.

They should offer it free with advertising and $1.99 without advertising... But honestly they would probably make more money off the free download with advertising...
