The 08 Foc looks pimp . I love the two tone orange on black combo. And I agree with everybody else, I think the 08 Foc looks the best. And hey look Vented rear DISC brakes

From watching the first show I know the evo has a CF hood, doors, and trunk lid. The Focus does look good!

As biased as I am, I can honestly say the Focus wins the styling competition. No question. Everything (as usual with FocusSport) is stylish, sporty, and not too far over the top.

This car could very well win FocusSport another Ford Design Award @ SEMA.

LOL
I know this is a little silly. But my only disappointment with the 08 focus is, I wish they had put Lambo or suicide doors on

the focus looks awesome and i bet the performance
meets and/or exceeds the awesome exterior/interior,
great job guys, i cant wait to see the rest of the show
unfoldI'm really not feeling the Mini and the Evo seems
somewhat cookie cutter as to the mods, doesn't seem
very different then most other heavily tuned Evo's
Except of course that they had the budget to go nuts on
carbon body panals. It just seems like an evo with alot of
money thrown at it, it doesnt have "soul" so to speak.

Thanx for the photo's but isn't it a little anti climatic that they allowed for this photo's to hit the web??? I know half the fun is watching the builds but there's no more wonder in what they will look like..... Of course it was my fault I clicked on the link in the first place hehe....

The Focus's interior is MUCH better in black with the body color panels, almost decent.....

Well buddy, we already had an Idea of what the Challenge car was going to look like. There is a rendering on the main page of this website of what the car is going to look like. The fun part comes in seeing how they get there, what they are going to do with the car. But, of course who wins the challenge !!!!

So, do all the teams get to use R-comps for the track? Or does the Evo team have to swap wheels for any perf. testing?

Yeah, right after Randy said the final car would look alot different from the design.....

Also, an idea and final product can be a big difference

OK some observations about the competetion.

a.) WTF with the little "bomb robot"? I mean really

a1.) And if you're gonna attempt to make a "ramp" so that it loads in and out... make it so that it acutally can.. and not just silly little stubs.

b.) Not sure what the rules are, but the Mini did not feature the street tuner challenge banner in its final product. I would think thats automatic disqualification in at least the appearance category.

c.) Did the Mini even paint? Or is it just flat black vinyl over the paint? The appearance of the Mini is completely disjointed... nothing flows. Stripes ahead of the door, red door with decal then solid black in the rear? And the hoodscoop in front of the sunroof. Talk about pointless.

d.) the Evo's lack of color is a major major strike against it. It looks like they ran out of time in the paintbox.

e.) Way to put an effort in on the interior there Skunk2. Oh wait... you didn't bother did you? Lets hope your dyno numbers show you did SOMETHING during the last few months.

f.) FocusSport isn't above it all. I don't like how much they dropped it...But I have to admit, the body kit is a significant improvement to the stock appearance.

g.) the Engine Bay looks good.... Dressed to impress with a punch to pack as well.

h.) sneaking a nav/DVD into the dash gives us hope!

i.) I assume the wheels are courtesy of a supplier to the show. Cuz they're pretty far from my favorite.

j.) the interior paint is great. The attention to detail is amazing. Matching the door inserts to the seats scores major points!

and finally THANK YOU FOR DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THAT GRILLE!

I'm very impressed. I kind of figured that the Focus would have a rather plain interior, because I know that FS is more function over form....but its quite showy...but not overdone. to Randy and the rest of FS.

I'm wondering about this too, it would be completly unfair
to allow one team to have race rubber and not the others.
