That white one looks good. I like the grille and headlights on the first post though, top notch!

I can certainly buy a better car than that over here for that much money. This is what people need to understand about the Focus over here, it just isn't the same car. Maybe originally it was but the Euro Focus has since moved upmarket, ours hasn't yet, it sounds like that will all change in a couple years.

If you really want a Euro Focus now, import one or buy a C30.

Osiris, I really thought a vet like you would be a little smarter than that..... Price out a VW GTi in Denmark and see how much it would cost in US Dollars....

Guess what, the Euro Focus ST is 1500 Euro CHEAPER than the GTi. How much can you buy a GTi for in the US??? Yeah, I thought so.....

Look again as you can't for the performance and the money. Not even the Opel Astra OPC.

I love MS Paint... Anyway, here's another angle w/ my headlight preference, plus a little lip. I would put a down payment on this right here.

or this... (headlight change)

while the current headlight may need some tweaks....it is an EVOLUTION like u said....your's simply takes any of the focus soul out of the car completely...kinda like what nissan did to the Sentra.

...if anything, your making it look like an old escort even more

I beg to differ. The flow of the body lines are still present. The hood shape, the grill shape, etc. that are part of the soul of the original Focus. Which is why the second picture of my last post (#44)works so much better, it helps maintain the original shape of the grill, which Ford evolved out in the recent design. Though my version of the headlights seem to be a drastic change I think it's a nice fresh face to an ever evolving car and would probably be accepted by consumers w/o many complaints... mostly the purists would be the ones complaining.

The headlights, IMO and many others, were always just a wee bit over the top. Many people were buying the "Integra" style lights, eye lids, or popping open the lenses and painting the chrome for this very reason. Though the sales of the Focus might prove otherwise, there is nothing wrong with a drastic change like this on the exterior. The majority of the soul of the Focus lies in the suspension anyway, and I'm glad they haven't touched that.

eh....good rubbutle but still dont agree

by chopping off the points of the headlights and making it a generic shape (like the sentra)...seems to ad a de-generation and remove the most noticable trait to the car, and thats what headlights are, the most identifyable trait to a car.

by adding those headlights, it really is a step towards the escort even more so...now tails AND heads that are similar...wouldn't have sold as well period. Focus is doing great right now, why? mainly because of a refresh, brand new interior, and good gas mileage, but also because it is fresh on the outside, and the headlights still score a "focus" look

but good rebuttle...much respect., i agree with suspension, but again that is only to the hardcore-lovers.

while that is an amazing version of the '09, it reminds me alot of an escort. i know that when the focus replaced and all, but just something about it makes it look like an escort.

great chop though
