Post up all the chops that you've done of the 09 coupe. I'll start with the way I would have done it.

A couple inches chopped from the roof, and lowered with some rake.

That car looks amazing. The upper grille was the one I always had a problem with. I think those headlights with that front bumper would look really great on a black or dark blue car.

Those headlights look complete. The whole grille thing could be fixed somehow. You may want to include a pic of the original '09 SES so people can see what the differences are (before & after).

If someone just made a headlight that would fill in the missing inside triangle area, the car would look soo much better.

Sound like this thread is a good candidate for the Concepts forum

Great photoshop! And the car looks like a considerable improvement...but it's still just lipstick on a pig. It feels like like Ford has looked back 10-15 years ago when they'd do "sport" versions of their Escort or Tempo. It just doesn't look like a cohesive design.

My biggest complaint about the new Focus... the pointless headlight shape that distracts the body line. Though it was an evolution of the first Focus, I don't think it works. So this was my interpretation of what would make the Focus work for me.
![]() Edit: Here's some more on the actual model. I've also included what needs to be done with the rear tails too. They currently just seem so out of place. They need something like this. Shorten the travel down the side and bring them on to the trunk. ![]() ![]()

if someone could try this with some PC, the line that runs along the bottom of the windows, run this line into the headlight, but you need to bring the tip of the headlight lower, then from top line of the A-pillar run it into a raise line on the hood down towards the corner of the grille. With the window line or shoulder line running lower then the A-pillar line this will shave off some of that excess metal on top of the front wheel well, this way you can flare out the front wheel fender to be a little more agressive looking.

Ahh...I see...you're looking for a bumper line similar to that of the 05-07 front bumper, with a different lower grill shape? Quote:

Yea, the blue one is a PS, probably from a year ago. Notice the pre-facelift square fog lights.

No I want a head light that is modeled after proven designs like the Lexus IS series. Not some stupid American design who thinks it's fun to put a friggin' PORK CHOP shaped light on the front of the Ford Focus.

I'll leave this here in Pitstop for a lil bit because its currently a popular subject. But eventually this will get moved to Concepts.
