Overall it was a decent episode, but the "Top Gear Stuntman" is a really stupid idea. The Ferrari test drive was alright but I really am not a Ferrari fan and to me seeing yet another Ferrari is getting boring. The race at the beginning was pointless but typical Top Gear, but I loved the bit with the Prius.
The cop car segment was very funny, especially Hammond's choice.

I didn't enjoy the Stuntman part or the celebrity part. Overall, I didn't think it was anything special or that hard to replicate.

Hammond's car was absolutely hilarious. I enjoyed the episode thoroughly. The interview time felt a little boring and drug out but had it's funny moments.

I never watch the interview (well I watched the Simon Peg one but that was it), I could care less about a British celebrity.

What happened to the Koenigsegg CCR with the top gear wing?
They took the time off the board. And what's with all the names and times being neatly arranged? I always liked how they were representative of the talent. You had an actual bell curve on the board. Small groups at the top and bottom with most clustered in the middle.

i thought it would be stale and lousy, but it was MORE of a waste of time than i thought it would be.
i mean it was all bark and no bite. nothing usefull - 1. they reviewed a ferarri 2. rednecked a few cop cars and 2.5 nothing else really happened. i mean - look at the focus ST vid from years ago and then theres this? garbage. |

I just went back to my Season 10 folder and looked at Episode 6, and when the Stig drives the new Type R Civic they put the time on the board, and yeah, there were a BUNCH of times removed this year it seems like. And I immediately noticed that the Koenigsiggsiggsiggsiggsigg with the Top Gear Wing time was gone off the top. I'm pretty sure one of the last cars did beat it (was it the Ascari?), but I know it didn't fall THAT far...Maybe they took some times for older cars off the board for cars that had replacements? (i.e. removed the Ferrari 360 time, because now they have the 430)

Alright, I went back and checked to be sure, and they definitely lost some times off the Power Board from last season. I screencapped this episode's board, as well as the final one of last year when they tested the Ascari A10. Take a look for yourselves.

Looks like they definitely needed the space... #1.
Plus in the fire I think they lost the cool wall and the power lap times, so they used the opportunity to prune it. I think all the times are still available somewhere online, maybe a wiki?

I thought the episode was fantastic! I love top gear for the comedy and entertainment, you guys are watching it for the wrong reason.
All time best episode by far was the polar special. That and the Safari one. -Cody

I get it as part of my digital cable package. So far I like the channel, it shows some twisted documentaries though.
