Yeah its not to bad, its not really chrome either. More of just a non metallic silver with a high sheen and gloss.

I don't think it's half bad. If it had chrome accents he would've ruined it. I actually think I would've like to have seen it ALL chrome with no black accents anywhere.

My money's on it being polished aluminum. OTT but as someone said about ALL black wheels (and they still make me want to yak) I guess it's owner can do what they want with it. I HAVE definitely seen worse.

Oh yeah, it was those exotics at Monterey with blacked out wheels.

You honestly want to know why real normal guy racing people use black wheels? And thus it trickled down to exotics?

Brake dust.

A friends whorish beast of a 600whp M3 Racercar gets black wheels (1) because they hate to wash it and (2) because it can get all the brake dust it wants on it, and it wont ruin silver rims.

I saw this when the Gumball 3000 Rally made it Hollywood on its first leg of the race

It's got a mirror-looking finish as well. Blitz has an S13 Silvia done up in the same way. I think it looks alright, for show purposes.

i was thinking about doing that to a focus wagon and tuck some 20s and maybe a V8 swap. reminds me of the nabo star ship from star wars episodes 1,2,and 3 the one that was used by padmay(spell check).
