The TT Gallardos are impressive but not very reliable cars. I've heard of clutch failures and transmission problems on this type of setup when doing just a few hard launches, the factory transmission is just not set up for this much aftermarket power.

I'd expect it to be faster. I watched an EVO run mid 9's in Orlando. For as much as a Lambo costs, it better be fast.

He waited for like .5-1 second after the light was green every time.

I'm not sure if that factors into it, but I'm pretty sure it does.

the time starts when the wheels leave the sensors. not when the light turns green. they use the time between when the light turns green and when the wheels leave the sensors to judge the drivers reaction time. also the transmissions in the lambo is a bit crappy in the amount of time it takes to engage after you slam down on the pedal.

Impressive... but the above comments are true, and why I will alway refer to any Lambo as a "Lottery Winners" Ferrari.

Have you been around one in person?

I used to think that until I came across a stock Lambo parallel parking downtown.

The damn thing rumbled. Like loud rumble. Like death rumble. At that point I realized: Oh... I get it. And never thought of the car in the same manner again.

To hell with the times and power... I'd buy one for the sound alone.

Agreed!

People who bash Lambos are generally all pretentious Ferrari owners. Lambos are just so thuggish, whereas Ferraris seem high strung and high maintence.

They're both high strung and high maintenance. Ferrari just has more snobby attitude like making you meet criteria (other than having the cash) before you can buy one. Some harbor ill will toward Ferrari from the Enzo days since he was such a jerk. If you haven't heard, he's dead. Get over it. The cars are simply fantastic.

However, If I were given the choice between an evo that beat a Lamborghini by 3 seconds in the quarter and the Lamborghini......even if the amount of cash difference in their costs was offered WITH the evo, with a shorter response time than a profession drag racer I say LAMBORGHINI!! Even not being a huge fan of the Audi-ghinis......LAMBORGHINI!
