I've been thinking about this for a while now. The only issue is tuning, mazda is falling down on the tuning issue.

Those are Mazdaspeed Accessory wheels, made by Rays Engineering. They're 18x7.5, 5x114.3 bolt pattern, 67.1 hub bore, and I believe they're et50-ish offset-wise. They're available in both forged aluminum and magnesium versions, both of which are quite expensive...IIRC, the forged aluminum ones weigh something like 7.7 kg and cost like $500 each...

Oh. Well... that's cool. They look really nice, and hearing that they're lightweight doesn't help much.

I found the 5 to be loud, as in lots of road noise, and had twitchy steering. Kinda cramped also. Ok, but nothing special.

I dream of cars that have steering that can be described as "twitchy". Much better than "do they use rope for linkage?".

As for the tuning we have been working that for sometime...and a solution is right around the corner...the tuning issue is an issue for us period but as we are preparing for SCT tuning in house we are also preparing for Mazda reflashes in house....
