That's an incredibly good looking graph! Almost impossible to pull away from a stop sign without spinning it, lol. Makes me wonder if they had the dyno & gear in agreement. WOW!

300 shot of nitrous... that's how you get a GREAT graph. But i don't think it would be too crazy. Just don't get jiggy with the throttle until you absolutely KNOW you're ready.

The turbine streamliner I had was in that power level (~1600hp with afterburners on). But the difference was I could keep the power on for nearly minutes at a time with enough fuel.

Everything was nice and calm until I put the hammer down and then speed kept building and building!

anyways good luck

Awesome car! Wish my car had at least a quarter the power of what he has.

I'm gonna say no. That car was insane. I see a lot of parts breakage in it's future however.

I've watched 900-1100hp Supras try to Auto-X. It was laughable, yet sad. The poor things sound like they need a tissue with all of the BOV "Sneezing", and they simply couldn't use more than maybe 1/3rd of their power without spinning.

k.

A 900-1100hp Supra isn't designed to autocross. What's your point?

That 900-1100hp Supra's are dyno queens.

And properly setup ones can run 9s. A bit more horsepower can get you into the 8s. If you're into drag racing, sounds like a good way to go to me?

Dukman said what I was implying.
These 2 guys were kids with too much Mommy/Daddy money, and they'd race down the freeway at over 150 mph regularly.
When they had to use the car for something besides a Long straight, their money was wasted.
Sure, to each their own, but on the Auto-X it was pretty dang funny.

Drag Racing Success is Largely affected by how heavy the wallet is that's pushing the right foot. More Money = More Power= Faster Drag Runs.
Yes, if one is into Drag Racing, it sounds like a Great way to go.
Personally, I'm torn between impressed with the number and unimpressed with the package as a whole, since for ME, a straight is the way to get to the next corner.

Point taken.
In MANY forms of amateur racing though, an underdog has much more fighting chance thanks to skills.

Makes me think of the Autocross I participated at the end of July, kid had a 11 second Volvo and bragged till a friend drug him to the Autocross. Car could not corner, he smashed the most cones of the day and ended up cracking one of his rims.

Not only are those turns VERY "Open" when compared to Auto-X, if that were a Real "Road Racing" situation, that'd only last a few laps until someone who managed their tires better passed him.
