Yessssss. Every car I own for the next 10 years will be as far from a Prius as I can possibly manage.

So...I guess to do that I have to have the following qualities: Buy a car that's fun to drive.

Thats about as far as it gets from Priass land.

I posted this on the two G8 sites that I frequent, and it has been rather warmly accepted... however, I posted it on a GTO site, and not even ONE response.

I don't get it. I guess GTO drivers love the Prius?

For me it's less about doing something the opposite of the Prius. I doubt you'll see me cruising around town in a 1970's utility truck to make the point. I like the idea of it because it's a way to remind people that you don't have to be driving a Prius to be responsible about what you drive. In fact, there are many other cars that are far more "responsible" (in relation to being environmentally friendly and good on gas) than the Prius. I still think the Prius is a good way to show what other options are possible...but this, "My Prius is saving the world that your <insert car here> is destroying" mindset makes me want to kick a dolphin in the face.
