Want to attend SEMA as a "Friend of Ford"? - The Ford Focus Forum

Ford is doing something special this year and inviting Ford enthusiasts from a select group of clubs and web sites to attend SEMA as a "Friend of Ford".

You also have a chance to have your car featured in a special Ford vehicle display area outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

If you want your car considered for inclusion in the display, or just want to attend the show, please read the following guidelines:

There are a limited number of spaces still available in our special "Friends of Ford" vehicle display area outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center, so if any of your members or contacts have a nicely modified Ford or Mustang that they would like to have included in the display, please have them complete the "CrusinVehicle" form and follow the submission instructions as soon as possible (the Oct. 10 deadline noted at the bottom of the form has been extended to Oct. 20.) Ford will respond to space requests in the order that they are received to verify space availability. Once accepted, vehicle owners should then fill out one Ford Friends Credential form for each person who plans to attend the show. (That form includes info on special Ford hotel discounts.)

If members do NOT wish to bring a vehicle but DO want a "Ford Friends Credential" to attend the show and participate in special Ford events, then they have to complete the attached Ford Friends Credential form only, and submit by Oct 20. Ford will respond to credential requests in the order that they are received to verify availability. (Please note that Ford is providing FREE access to the special Ford display space and FREE access into the SEMA show ONLY; attendees are responsible for all of their own vehicle transport, travel, lodging and entertainment expenses.)

The "Friends of Ford" offer includes both the chance for owner cars to join the SEMA display as well as the chance for your members to attend the SEMA show as a special guest of Ford.

Recipients who choose to be a Special Guest will receive all-access passes to SEMA on 11/3 and 11/4, which will include:

1. Complimentary shirt.
2. Designated time to drive the new Ford Fiesta on the road as well as the proving grounds.
3. Admission to the Ford Press Conference.
4. Admission to the Tuesday evening SEMA/Ford concert on the proving grounds.
5. Access to the reduced hotel rates at the Hard Rock or Las Vegas Hilton.
