That's not a trans-am. All the rims are the same size and shape. I thought trans-ams were required to have a minimum of 3 different wheel sizes.

Seriously, though...badass.

My brain is having a big conflict between the early '70's style front and rear and the late '60's roofline and window lines. It's also overly exaggerated, almost cartoonish - it needs the low, long body of the 2nd gen F-body to make the other elements work.

I would much prefer this motor, the new Camaro suspension, and a stiffer frame on an actual '70's Trans-Am than this.

What I've described: Year One's BRE Bandit, blessed by none other than the Bandit himself.

I swear to god I'd go down to a dealership with a trucker cap, mullet wig, "Billy Bob" teeth, in ripped jeans and a Def Leppard t-shirt asking to test drive one of these as a "Replacement for Charlene... I miss her so much!"

Oh, don't get me wrong... I like it! Of course it's not gonna be rolling on what looks like 22's. But, like all other concepts... hopefully they don't jack it up in the translation, should they decide to produce it.

I'm warming up to it now. It's definitely a better Trans Am rendition than some of the other ones at SEMA.

The 22" rims will most definitely be part of the package - Chevy already puts dubs on the Camaro - it's not a huge stretch to go to double-dubs.

I think it is the complete opposite. They are retro styled with a little modern flava.
