Autoblog dissed the US Foci at Sema cause the RS was there... I am sorry but this car will destroy the RS on track. It may be built towards 500 horses but, based on FSWerks track record and thier intimate knowledge of the US Focus platform; the Stock RS does not stand a chance.

^^Wow shame on Autoblog for not having a bit of a clue. I suspect this car will not beat but absolutely embarrass the RS in every way.

I've read quite alot of his material. He is more of a writer... not really a "CAR" guy from what i've read.

Yes we still use the old chassis, but it is far from bad and the Focus here is far from weak.... Shows me he'll write first, fact check a FAR second. Way to go.... journalist.

Hmmmmm.... Sounds like Randy needs to give someone at Ford a call and make a showdown at the track happen......

I'd take the FS built car any day over the RS...

I know the RS is a great car and all, but I think alot of people over exagerate its greatness...

The FS car is just...I don't even know how to say GAWDLY!!!!! I would love to have that...

Well we all would. I'd prefer FS to work their magic on a C1 ST though. It has more of that sleeper factor when compared to the RS, but seeing that I cant get either, I would like to have one of FS's Amero Coupes. IMO they are equally a

Come on, guys. The FSWerks car is really cool, but Autoblog's point was that having a Euro Focus around (the best one, at that) casts a shadow on any tuned domestic Focus.

You can't compare how a modded ~500 hp car would compete against a stock ~300 hp RS on the track. The RS has a complete interior, climate control, hatchback, etc. And it has the revoknuckle. It's a complete package with day-to-day driveability. Imagine what would happen if the guys at FSWerks got their hands on it.

Besides, if you just want to talk about track performance, both these Foci would get destroyed by that X-Games Fiesta...

Doesn't look like we have time. We are trying to finish the GTi for the Eurotuner Gran Prix that is coming up fast. Then we have a few days to finish the LA Auto show project car.

^gotcha, more then understandable. looking forward to seeing the GTi in action. New season of Redline time attack starts in late march 2010 at buttonwillow. maybe you guys can get both the black 09 focus and the GTi setup for that event. Would be sick since it'll be both the FSwerks and Eurosport side of the company.
