![]() Notice that black motorcycle cover on the right...yeah, that's my ****ing bike... ![]() OH, we've got a total winner here! ![]() ![]() Imagine that...a dent in the 1/4 panel. I can only imagine how the **** that happened. PROBABLY WHEN YOU WERE ****ING DRUNK! ![]() She actually scrubbed her paint off of her door......ON MY EXHAUST! ![]() ![]() We finally rolled the bike up a little so we could get the cover off. The door was actually stopping us from being able to pull the cover off....because SHE WAS ACTUALLY HITTING MY BIKE! ![]() ![]() Luckily all she did was scrub some of the plastic chrome off of the end of the pipe-cap. How much of a ****ing moron do you have to be to park in someone elses ****ing parking spot like that? I just found out that she's moving into our apartment building and our lease is up next year. Her life will be a living hell from here on out. dave.

Stupid people suck,
One suggestion I'd give you would be to get a brightly colored cover to replace the black one. Anything to make the bike more visible when sitting in a dark parking lot.

Seems like the Mustang got the worst of it. Let insurance take care of the rest of it. No body died. Time to take a few breaths. Seriously.

S**t happens everywhere, that why we have insurance AND patience. I too believe some kind of reflective material would have avoided this, your cover concealed any factory reflective visibility. Have you talked to her, was she drunk as you assumed? She might have thought nothing was there and decided to use both spaces, the slight nudge possibly wasn't felt, being new in the area hurried off to find safety in her apartment, many reasons could exist. Talk to her before assuming. Could be the future ex-wife LOL

When somebody is drunk they're gonna hit it regardless of any type of reflective material or not. Look how reflective the lines are and yet she couldn't discern them. If anything a reflective cover could have made it worse very worse for him.

I'd be super pissed too man. That is all kinds of fail to creep that far into someone's spot, hit a bike and just leave the car there.
Time to lay some spike strips along your spot

This chick is REALLY REALLY REALLY lucky you are so kind-hearted. Most of the people I know who ride wouldn't have bothered rolling the bike forward to remove the cover, they would have rolled the car away from the bike. (Or "moved" the fender/door so it was no longer touching the bike.)

I don't know, kind of looked like she made a right turn into the spot which means she may not have seen a reflective cover but a brightly colored cover might have stood out enough to get her attention. If she had come in the other way odds are she would have clobbered the bike with the front bumper of her car. As it sits she probably didn't even notice it since she seems to have just turned in and rubbed up against the bike. Could have been a lot worse.

Trust me if she couldn't discern the lines how could she discern a huge reflective bulk in between the lines.

Not seeing something in the other spot is still not an excuse for parking like a jackass.

Sometimes people go over the lines and it's not their fault. One guy shows up and parks over the line, then the car next to him has to do the same, and then it dominos down the line like that. Then the first guys leave and one car is left parked totally half in one space and half in the other and everyone thinks they are an idiot. But when they showed up, it was the only way he could park because everyone that got there before him had parked like idiots.
This chick was probably just drunk though! |

Well, she parks like an idiot, maybe she was drunk, maybe not... but in all honesty, a black cover with no reflective material at all is not the best option to go with. Just like the guy who jaywalked the other night in front of me wearing black pants and a black hoodie on a very dark country road surrounded by woods with a high speed limit and no sidewalks. Scared the **** right out of me. Almost smoked the dumb son of a bitch.
Not saying this was your fault but your parking lot doesn't look very well lit up so I think I would use a different cover. Make her feel really guilty about it, tell her your friends cousins brothers friend is dying of cancer and was going to really enjoy a ride on the bike the next afternoon and wasn't able to because she douche pickled your bike. Then let insurance (hers) pay to fix it and it's done. If she was drunk and you can prove it, let the insurance company and or the police know about it.
