Here of some pics of my car with orangezx3's wheels...he was kind enough to let me borrow them for the day until I put on my team dynamic motorsports tomorrow...what do you think???

So thats the bad boy that will be in HIN huh. I like it looks like mine except for I got the clear corners which you are waiting for. They make the CD silver ZX3 look so much better. I cant wait to see what you did with your interior because im thinking about changing the seats a little.

Your ride looks phat man. The first exterior mod I wanna do is to get those greyed-out tail-light lenses. Where did you get em from? How much did those rims set your friend orangezx3 back? What kind are they? Those 7-spokes look good on the ZX3. I like what you have done with your car so far. I am waiting to get the hella headlights once I get promoted at my job. Then I do the major mods

I also have a friend like your friend Jeff. He is a mechanic at a hotrod garage, and is willing to let me buy rims through him at 60% off. I am just lookin' at my options right now though. Peace

Slayer420The tint looks darker than it actually is in that pic, but to answer your question, they are 23% on the back 3, and 35% on the side 2
SilverfocusZX3I'm anxious to see how it turns out as well, I was hoping to have it done in time for HIN, but its going to take longer than expected!! You better stop by our display and say hi!! ask for Chad, thats me!!!

SilverbulletThe taillights were very easy to do...buy some niteshades, spray it on, let it dry, and waaallaaa!! thats what you get. Regards to the wheels, they are ATR racing 7 spokes...only set on the planet custom drilled for Jeff's focus...he is THE original!! As far as the Hellas go, I like em, and I hate em...they suck A$$ as far as adjusting them, put the performance is good, so it evens out!!

That would make the car SO much better looking thats the one mod I really want but dont know if where I should get it done. Dude - I think your ride looks totally sweet. I was somewhat curious why I haven't seen those wheels on more Foci so thanks for the explanation.

Also, I think orangeZX3 should post here more often - he used to be an FJ regular and had a lot to say about 'cars' in general.

Now I only see posts from him every once in a while. Maybe he's busy though and I understand that.

BTW: Post more pics when you get your wheels on too.

I can't believe I don't know what these things are. What are nightshades? Can you get em from your local auto parts store? I just thought about this one. Are they even street legal to have them painted like that? If not, I just might have to buy some lenses or somethin i can remove.

Peloton Thank you for the compliments and thank you for all your insightful posts on this board as well!! As far as Jeff (orangezx3), he is very involved in our car club redlinemotorsport and we have our own board, but he does frequent here when he gets the chance. He is a very busy man these days
Silverbullet Niteshades is a spray on tint...comes in a silver can and can be purchased through modernperformance. As long as red light still reflects, they are street legal.

Thanks ccubedzx3, I just put in my order just before this post. I have been wondering where people made those tail-lights look blacked out w/o lenses. I think that kind of mod looks best with the silver and black ZX3's. Maybe the dark blue ones. But anyways, thanks for answering my question. I have been part of other forums before and sometimes people just don't reply. I LOVE THE JET!

hey I am still here! work is just strict on the net usage here, also I bought a house and am in the progress of resorting it. So I am busy.

AS FOR THE WHEELS. They are the only set ALT Racing at-190s in the world to fit a focus. I bought the car last year before motegi made a wheel that is kind of similar for the focus. Thought there are subtle differences that I still like about my ALT racings over the motegis. So these were the wheels I wanted but ALT Racing only made them for the civic. So I bought the wheels and had them custom drilled to fit the bolt pattern of the focus. So each wheel for drilling and the cost of the wheel ended up costing me $205. Hey you will pay for something if you want it. But I though those wheels because I thought they looked the best on a focus. They are 17" ALT Racing (AT-190) Seven spoke. I am getting them painted a dark charcoal bronze next week. I am thinking of sellin them over the winter if anyone is interested...???
