This is why I still believe that FJ is one of the best automobile forums on the Internet. The majority of people act mature, have respect, and are level-headed. With that said: HONDA POWER! (Sorry I couldn't refuse)

This is also a great place for former Focus owners and general automotive enthusiasts, too.

Many of you guys are like my "online" family, as dorky as that may seem, but it's true. This place is the best.

I think if you post on FJ you should be ready for both Negative and Positive remarks. Were all adults for the most part. So with that said who cares what people say about your car as long as (YOU) like it. And further more if someone wants to tell you how they feel in an untasteful way then that just shows what kind of person they are. They become the fool.

to the majority of members who keep this place civil by posting reponsibily. This thread is really a remider for a few on this board.

If I want to read a bunch of posts where people bicker and "flame" each other like juveniles, there are innumerable enthusianst sites online for me to visit. Thankfully, [FJ] is not that sort of place.

Very, VERY well said Ataru. I have been a member of FJ for over two years (I've had a couple different screen names b/c of computer problems) and I remember how it USED to be. People would tint windows a tad darker and get a WHOA!, NICE! It is good that many are still wanting to keep it that way. After all, our car's aftermarket is still going strong, so we need to focus (yes, I mean the verb) on the new, creative things to come rather than wasting time bashing people's personal taste of style.

[FJ] ROCKS!

Right, you might see mods that are not your style, but heh it's not your car, so what do you care?? I make suggestions sometimes to sort of "bring things" together with what they've done. The most important thing to remember is: "You don't know it all".. That's why I like the Jet, because as a group, we have covered almost all the mods that can be done or tried to do them, so it's a great source of information about what works and what doesn't.. Keep it up !!

Focal Jet community has actually helped me with alot of things concerning my car had it not been for FJ and the things I have learned from Focal Jet I would be back at square one. I have also been given the oppurtunity to meet and enjoy convorsation with some really cool people and be in the presence of some sexy cars. FordRallye when first looking at me car I overheard him say "You know I am not really all that fond of that front bumper however the side skirts are a perfect match" or something of the sort. It honestly put a smile on my face cause I realised how diverse everyone is and how they can be cool about it still. I have no doubt that he would have posted the same thing on a Jet post. If you cant say it in person dont hide behind your computer and say it. You can voice your oppinion but you can do it in a respectful way.

Thanks for the post. Although i might not like most of the mods done by members cuz i'm not a fan of "ricing out your car" But that's just me. I still respect it. I just don't post about it.

I'm always excited to see other foci drivin down the street when they are modded. Keep it up boys and girls

Actually, I was going to include yours in there as an spi example, but I only found the shot of your car in the gallery which is just a head on shot.

great point. when it comes to being negative, I try to do it in such a sense that the other person doesn't come off as dejected and rejected. explain that it's just your opinion. if they ask for it and don't heed it, it's their loss - not yours. I know firsthand what it's like to have my feedback requested and then thrown to the wind - it hurts. but it's not your loss after all is said and done.

Just to add, noone is saying you can't post your opinion, however, I think you should only post if someone asks for opinions. For example, I post pics to share and I usually "DON'T" ask for opinions!!! I think this is the key, keep them to yourself unless you are asked to share...

All I have to say is that this is a great post!!! I just put my car on here 3 days ago becuase I knew my car would be a lot different than the other focuses on here. For those frst 3 days I recieved nothing but crap from just about 95% of the people posting. I am really happy someone finally stood up and said something becuase I was starting to think this site was for haters who just sat around all day and made fun of cars that they wish they could have. It really pissed me off too becuase on cardomain they never talk [censored] but maybe 1 out of 25. But on here it was 95% or more. Well anyways thanks for the best post I have read, since I have been on this site!!!!
