Looks awesome! Those are the old Greyscale wheels aren't they?
Photog needs to switch from making you look like you aren't moving at all to getting some motion blur in the background. Most of those pictures give you no sense of motion.

yeah those are the wheels i had on greyscale, but wrapped in 225/45/17 kumho V710s. Ashley said she was working on getting the background to blur a bit. Maybe next event.

Or at least some blur in the wheels. Slow down the shutter speed a bit. It looks weird seeing the XR with those wheels on there and not the white Mustang wheels. Glad you finally broke out the race rubber and using them paid off!

I think i might have just redefined badass... in a ghettofabulous way.
Decided to straighten the front bumper a bit - but hell, why i'm at it why not put on a front air dam? Off to home depot i go. I pick up a 4' long section of aluminum angle, 1/16 x 1/2 x 3/4", a 4' section of 1/8 x 3/4" flat stock, a piece of rubber kick molding 4' long x 4", and a box of self tapping screws. Total cost: $23. cost of project (subtract unused flat stock (i'll find a use for it later) and the screws i didn't use) - about $10. Anyway, onto the pics. Got the angle cut into shape and starting to make it fit the bumper. Cut slits to bend, then secured to bumper with 14 screws. ![]() showing the up/down (first pic is curvature front / rear) ![]() mock up aluminum on bumper to get shape, remove. lay on rubber, draw line, cut excess. ![]() mounted to car ![]() showing how it's mounted: ![]() took the 3/4" flat stock. cut 5 pieces 2.5" long and curved them around a piece of 3" pipe for some radius. measured dam and secured the pieces. spaced the curved aluminum 1/4" down so there still is some give for stuff in the road. ![]() showing how those are mounted ![]() clearance to ground ![]() clearance to ground and curvature ![]()

Now how are you going to keep that on there? I mean you are driving it to the track...lots of miles between there and home. I think you need a trailer.
Ghetto-fabulos yeah! I like it!

some more far away piccies
![]() ![]() i might straighten out the bottom of the bumper some more - but my oil lines to the cooler go there and i dont want to stress those. adam - it's kept on there with a whole crapload of screws. it flexes enough where i'm not worried about it getting torn off.

I understand. I just keep promoting your need of a trailer.

Had some fun this past weekend. Really fun course. short slalom, friction circle, chicago box, offset chicanes, sweepers... no vid of me running (co driver is the guy with the cameras) but i'll post up a vid of tom's c6 vette ripping it up.
anyway. pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And Tom's car. Yes, i got bumped into X-Prepared again. Yes, this is the guy that took first. I took third behind him, then Nick (quick nick) in a SM2 350z that also got bumped to "Anything goes XP". a little outclassed but hey, i tried! Tom's 5th Run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7ol0DuSyyY side note: i was working as "starter" in the vid. heh.
