Me and a few other members went to an AutoX on Saturday. It was my first ever time, so I didn't know all the rules and stuff. So, I kept my Carbon Fiber hood on my car not knowing it will put me in a different class. I got put into Street Mod class, which the rules were basically anything goes. So, I was racing against 400+ hp STIs, Corbas, Corvettes, and stuff against my 150whp SVT.But, lucky someone we know there had an extra set of 17s with R Compound tires on there that he let me use. I ran a 57 second lap, which wasn't bad for my first ever time. Anyways, here are a couple pictures and videos.

Love those Euros on your car, makes me wonder if I should have gotten some when I had the chance.

Car looks great.
Just for learning purposes, I bet you'll do better overall if you dont keep driving with R-comps. A few more times with street tires will probably help you drive smoother, etc... Not saying you didnt drive well. I have no Auto-X experience but just in general time spent with less sticky tires prods along your driving skills.

I don't plan on it. It was a good offer and just had to take it. I wish I had a set, but I am done modding my car.

i agree with 2.3. r-comps "hide" mistakes normally that you would pay for on street tires.
