Yea i say the car needs a stock euro rear bumper and it will definitely set it off with those euro style wheels.
Nice ride.

Just because I saw this posted several times in this thread with no answer. 17 inch OEM Ford wheels, classified as "MP3" wheels, available in Europe and pretty much no where stateside. Expect to pay at least $215 shipped per wheel (note I said at least) and that's if you can find them. |

I'd actually say make them more shiny myself. I'm not a chrome guy, but they would look good all chromed up. Or just more silvery. Either way, hot as hell!

Been quite a while! Forgot that password eh? hehe
![]() Car's looking GREAT! I'd hate to see it go, as it's one of the nicest around here. If you're truly planning on letting go of the wheels, look me up - seriously! ![]()

Gutted told me they were JDM wheels and that they were something like 43 lbs a piece.......So I didn't believe either part of it.
The one part that I know is factual is that they were available on the MP3 in Europe. |

Thanks for the compliments and criticism (if any) folks!
As for painting the wheels some other color......I'll leave them as they are. But the other set of wheels that I do have in mind.... ![]() The car has been through quite a lot and I'm surprised that it is still kicking and rolling. I'll post pics of the other ride and the new one that is bound to show up in my garage in the next few months when I do get the time. Thank you Focaljet, its members, and moderators for letting me post and for giving me the ideas and inspiration that resulted in the Focus that you see on the first page.Without you folks, I might have actually kept the EK (still a great car) that I had for a few months and dumped the Focus, lol! |

Well sir I think you've done just about everything right with your Focus, except for those obvious things pointed out with the color-coding and glossy pieces and whatnot. Those wheels truly are awesome though, if only I had money to throw at my car

Don't paint the trim, there is such a thing as too much and you're good right where you're at. If you paint the trim someone will think the rims need to be black and then it will be WAY over the top.... Wheels need to contrast and do nicely, and the trim is fine. My only suggestion that wouldn't mess too much with what you're doing is red/amber taillamps like the standard taillamps in Europe. The amber would be a nice touch. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it......

Yeah I still got the ST170's and the Euro OEM tailights in my house. Bad thing is that I don't know where the sockets for the tailights are now, lol! I'll hit ya up once I get the chance so we can do mini two-Focus G2G which will probably be the biggest G2G that FJ808 will have in two years. Full-time school + full-time work = ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sick car!! I love it!!
Tint them windows, get glossy pillars/triangles or use gloss black vinyl (buy it in a roll from a sign shop), ArmorAll Ultra Shine on the mirrors, side moldings, hatch strip and front grille. Then it would be complete.
