Cool New Ride 1966 Bonneville (56k Nope)

Well I picked this car up this week. It is a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville. I will let the pictures say the rest.

That is the only real rust on the car. Rest is surface.

Perfect Intertior

Original Miles

Sweetest Seat Belt Buckle Ever!!!

I only paid 1,600 and it runs great.

Just need the curb feeler mod, and you'll be golden! Your car is AWESOME! I have always loved that old 60s bodystyle in the Bonnies!

The car is actually in damn good shape considering it's age. And that interior is unbelievable.

Is the front seat in the same conditon? Dash spiderwebbed badly?

389 under the hood? Or was it the 400 by then? Hell, I am so out of touch with what the old cars used to have.

The beast. It has the 389 in it. It has some oil leakage around the valve covers. Nothing I cant fix though.

Oh the interior is perfect. There are no cracks, no webbing well some spider webs, and everything works. It even has reverb. Time for some cleaning, welding, sanding, and bondo!!!!

That's what I was thinking...looks weak but looks good. That appears to be a fun little (big?) project!

Bag it and put some 22" wheels on it. It needs to be slamed.

wheel spacers and 15" wheels with old school spinners would rock out. Keep it that color, salmon is it? Very unique - the ladies will love it.

I think it used to be bright red, but has since been quite oxidized.

Does it come with life vests, cause that thing's a boat! Very cool, though! I love the land yachts of the late 1960s-early 1970s. I don't know why, but I think they're really cool.

suicide the rear doors! I like it. I like Lorin's idea, but a think a nice dark metallic blue paint would look great.

i was thinking of either repainting it the original color or taking my time and finding a color that would go with what I have planned. I am not going to do big rims or airbags. If anything i would put some hydro's. But first I have to get it to that nice primer color. Yum. And one of my favorite features on the car is the no b-pillar. It gives it a nice clean look when you are cruising down the road. Oh and I need to redo the a/c. If you look in the engine pic you can see the a/c pulley is not connected. So i have to figure out what is wrong with it.

Put some Meguiar's Wax on it and you will be set. It did wonders for a 88 Mustang GT I just posted.

Holy rust batman! Nice car. I would strip it and rebuild it. Only if you have like 4 incomes coming in though.
