A few updates to the daily beater truck... - Focaljet

The most obvious is some leftover wheels and Falkens from our '01 Cobra... kind of a fun touch... turn-in and handling have improved, but ride quality is definitely down.

The second is the painted flairs... no more bright metal.

Next comes a black pinstripe and badge/logo blackout... except for the front logo, it'll be body color.

Yeah... but it'd be more fun with a Cobra 4.6L 4 valver.

I've considered swapping in a Lexus 4.0L or 4.3L V8.... until I went price shopping on engines like that. Lexus engines are apparently made of gold or something.

Well, I can get 27 MPG with it now, so I'm content to keep it as is for a bit.

A V-motor would work better in that short engine bay than an inline. Lorin and I have had this discussion.

now this is a nice little truck here and the cobra rims give it a nice touch

i personally would get little black decals to go over the cobra logo on the rims though,this beater is off the hook
