Default VOTE - October FOTM: Big Pimpin'

The Nominations

Each Nominee was given from Saturday until this evening to send me a PM with info and pictures of their car. If some of the nominees do not have info, it is because they did not respond to my PM.

Jon, Fastraxturbo, has asked that he not be considered for this competition. I responded to his PM but since I have yet to hear from him, I am going to honor his request and remove him from the voting.

We had 5 cars with the most nominations. 6th and 7th place were tied for nominations, and since Jon has removed his car from the competition, that will leave the top 4 cars for the voting:

The goal of this project is to create a hybrid between the American SVT model and the European RS (Best of both worlds?). You can think of what I'm doing as taking the DNA from the SVT and the DNA from the RS and making the appropriately awesome offspring!

This car began as a 2004 Focus SVT, but has been completely modified to replicate the 2003 European Focus RS. Basic body modifications include wide quarter panels, wide fenders, wide bumbers and RS wheels (all from Ford of Europe). Custom paint retains the original CD silver but the Focus RS Imperial Blue has been integrated to symbolize the combining of the two cars.

It handles the rigorous SCCA Autocross season as well as the delicacies of the 4-6 car shows annually. It's also my daily driver (I just returned from a weekend in Lansing, MI, 12 hours each way!).

Wow, awesome competitors this month, but I think there's only one that truly fits the theme.

I voted for Focus'dSound, b/c those wheels look HUGE... definitely fits the "big pimpin theme".

We are voting on the theme right?

SVT2RS in an early lead!

Jon's certainly very sportsmanlike. Removing himself from the competition rather than pummel the opposition senseless.

SVT2RS they aren't any bigger than yours!!!!! Being on bags helps em look a little bigger though. I'll tell you one thing I could go home with a second place trophy to you anytime. I know how much work is involved with what you have done to that car and you have my respect. Good luck.

I voted for the one sittin on chrome because it simply had more bling. NONE of these nominees had any ladies in any of the pics. How can you pimp anything without hoes?

None of the cars appear to have "BIG" or "PIMPIN" wheels except Chromeis....they are all great cars but I doubt any will be happy being called 'pimped out, king'....all of them are euro spec and lack chrome...PLUS....Chromies car is the only one with 'chrome' 19's.

Oh yeah.....Chromies FTW

If you're talking pimp style, then you have to go with BIG BLING!
And none of the other cars show bling like this one.

Too many people are not playing into the theme here, I think. I'd vote SVT2RS for most attractive ride, but it doesn't fit the theme at all.

FocusdSound is bagged and ChromiesMami is chromed, the only two qualified in my eyes. Perhaps for future themed nominations, there should be a few more requirements to make the cut.
