You got a clear title for the vehicle? Figured I would mention this before you invest too much into it..

When my BeaterScort sat for about a year, it got ants and wasps. And it still had all the windows!

I gutted it except for the headliner and hosed out the whole inside, then put it back together. Good times.

I say gut it, put a racing driver's seat in, buy a rear seat if you want to be able to carry passengers, forget carpet, headliners, and a passenger seat. Who says ZX3s have tricky rear seat access?

That'd be a killer pizza delivery beater fo shizzle.

It's kinda weird driving without a passenger seat. Ever done it?

Yup, its strange as hell. Feels like your gonna fall into the open space the entire time hehe.

Even worse trying sitting on the passenger side but in the back seat with no front passenger seat hehehe, good times.

That's how 1badegg's ZX3's been for a long time. Passengers have hella legroom. Well one of them anyways...

Ive always liked the legroom in the Focus, not too much, not too little. but when you step into my brothers RSX-S or my Sisters 5.0GT, or my dads 997.... TERRRRRRIBLE.

If I had that car, I would either leave the baby blue/red paint on, or add a whole plethora of crappy colours and run it as a junker-sleeper

Newspaper article from Feb. 04

Quote:
Keith xxxxxx, 22 of Red Lion, for his failed attempt to collect insurance money in the case of the floating Ford Focus. Northeastern Regional Police pulled the car from the Susquehanna River last February and tracked the owner down by calling the number on the “For Sale” sign in the vehicle’s window. Initially, Mr. xxxxxx claimed that someone stole the car and filed an insurance claim for the loss. The case ended this week with Mr. xxxxxx’s guilty plea to charges of insurance fraud and unsworn falsification. He was sentenced to 24 months probation and 50 hours of community service.

Given the time it spent swimming I would suggest you go the transplant route and ditch the entire electrical system now in the car.

Good luck.

HAHa, I did this last week in my Kona, I was swapping new seats in it, and I got the back seat done, so I sat in it, and I felt like it was a limo or something, I could really stretch out back there...LOL
Then I went to get food, and random parts to finesh stereo, and backing up, I use the passnger seat to turn around, I put my right hand on back of seat, I turn around, go to put my hand on the seat like usual, and it ain't there, it looked like I was swatting at bugs or something...

The car kinda has a "Golf" or old Gt40 race car scheme going with the baby blue, and red/orange color...

Something where you have to strip it down to the chassis, get it bead blasted and rebuilt like when K.I.T.T got owned by K.A.R.R

V8 swap, WRC style motor, the limit is how much $$ u got to throw in.

More pics some of these are a repeat though.

Interior is gutted now and cleaned up pretty good. Motor turn over freely and had only a couple of drops of water in the oil pan. Removed all the damaged goods like the radiator and the condesor. Looking for a starter now so i can get the keys reprogrammed and see if it fires up or not. Thanks to Xmandax for donating her old plug wires and front bumper.

i'm going to take a wild stab here and say that front bumper was manda's stocker. We are in the long process of a Z restoration and w/o being in a river it looks worse then that.
