Nice car. Like the mods. Several of you have commented on the lack of paint chips. I live in northern NY just south of montreal where winter really does a number on your paint if you let it. I don't have any chips in 30K miles either. I just stay far enough back from all those trucks, esp. the ones w/ o mud flaps.
Also, I had a local body shop paint my 'hatch strip', door handles and door rub strips body color when i first bought the car (mine's CD Silver) and they did an exact match. It really improved the looks of the car and it looks as if it came OEM that way. I didn't paint the mirrors (tho they look good painted) 'cause i was afraid that, because the stuck out so far, they'd get scrached or chipped.

That looks like my old SVT... hey it is! I'm glad to see you're enjoying it and treating it right. I like the changes you've made, especially the HID's. Don't forget to stop by and pick up your floor mats in January.

Thanks for the compliments... it means a lot Andrew! Gotta make sure the former owner approves! I called and got the build number, and date of manufacture a couple weeks ago, you can read in my sig.

I won't be going up to Michigan until late January because of some scheduling problems at work, but I will definitely be picking them up. I will e-mail you before I come, and give you my phone number if you need.

I always wondered what the build date/number was. Ford never sent me the "birth certificate" that was supposed to come with the SVT's. I ordered it late March and it was delivered early July. The wait was agonizing!
