Default New rims, yay

Just thought I'd share with you guys. They went on earlier today. Since then, my solenoid A went out in the tranny.
But hopefully I can fix her up soon. Luckily it only can't shift into O/D so it's pretty drivable when I turn that off. Anyway, here you go:

(LOL at the dude's trash next to the car. )

Up close and personal:

Go fat or go home:

That's all for now, enjoy!

Very nice, they look great! eBay by chance? I saw them listed a few days ago, decent price. One question, how heavy are they...?

I forgot to weigh them.
I never felt them with the tires on there, but without them they seemd way light. That is, unless I was carrying the two boxes of two wheels, lugs, stems, tools, up the stairs to my apt.
They are pressure cast aluminum, probably weigh somewhere in the neighborhood of 20. I'm not racing on these though, they're way too pretty. I got these so I coupld put some Azenis on my 16's.

Yes, I did get them off ebay. I thought they were pretty rare but there's another set up right now. I think the guy gets them as soon as BBS HQ in ATL does.

It looks good for being really close to stock.
But it can hang in the turns, man.

Yeah, it wasn't too bad for them.
I just had to order a new valve body for $500 though.
At least it will shift a little better once I get it in the car.

LOL.
I'm so broke right now, man. Just bought half a transmission. I'll keep it in mind, though. Want to stay in STS in auto-x so I'd have to look into it. I'll probably end up painting the calipers a mild blue, drums flat black and call it a day.

The springs and shocks peeking out do look really cool, don't they?
Couldn't really see them before.
