I figure with most of the country having crappy, snowy weather, we should honor those Focus enthusiasts who still motor along all year long in your Focus.......road salt and all.

This IS My Winter Beater!

So, to be eligible for this month's Focus of the Month, we need to see your Focus surviving the harsh elements of winter.

Snow or ice. If your car is not surviving either of those, you're not eligble for this month's FOTM. So please submit a picture of your car dealing with these conditions.

Does your car look a little different modification wise during the winter? THAT'S what we should see entered, not your summer look.

Nominations will end on the 22nd. Happy nominating!

Heh, why not it's a good picture anyway.

Ataru - no, i dont think i should as i have my phat phast saturn SL 1.9 SOHC

I need to find a pic of mark's car. (Zekester) - once i do, he gets my nomination. EVEN in winter the crazy old man keeps the WHEEL WELLS clean. i'm serious.

edit: got them. and when i say he keeps his car like this in winter, i'm serious.

and here is a fun day we got to spend together when it was about mid 20's outside

This is the cleanest it honestly ever gets, hahahahaha The thing is one bad ass beater!

Thing is....you need to have a pic of the car IN the nasty stuff, not just a pic of it during the winter......

i have several pics of my SVT in the snow, some clean, some absolutely horrid, but i dont daily drive it anymore so i dont think i qualify.

and i dont think ANYONE has a pic of zekesters car dirty. it just.. doesnt get... dirty. we had a g2g in feb last year and his WHEEL WELLS were clean. wtf?

Kinda hard to do that while driving. Besides, I get to park mine car in the garage to avoid nasty stuff.

The salt is from the highways. The time I hit the roads are usually when the trucks are out. I argue one "harsh" element is the wind. With 0F winds hitting the car for about 10 hours with no block heater, it takes a beating.

The only changes are my winter steelies, the 15-inch OEM wheel covers, and Michelin wiper blades.
