My (extended) family has given me so much, more than I could ever give back. Always there. Through the good times and the not so good times, everyone has never hesitated to lend a helping hand. Sometimes making for a big change in my life.

This site is more than just something I browse while online. It's the reason i'm online. I want to know what's new and I want to be able to know what's going on with all of my dear friends here. So many wonderful people have branched out to me from here, so much information and so much amazing advice.

One of the foremost reasons I drive, and will continue to do so, a Focus is because everytime I hop in, I feel that family bond. Ask anyone, the car fits me.

This particular Foci will be counted as my 5th. I cannot take credit for the (majority) of the maintenance and modifications. She has been cared for since she was new in '01 by 3 Stripes(Andrew).

I met Andrew shortly after he bought the car, and proceeded to make him catch the modding bug. I have seen this car take many different forms. Hell I sold him most of the parts

When she was up for grabs due to a MS3 purchase, I just couldn't let it slip by me. I had to have it. With 150K, she still doesn't miss a beat. She needs some more basic maintenance before she is dead reliable. She also needs a little cam timing tuning, but that will happen soon enough. But, she does very well for herself right now.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my newest purchase and wish I could have more Foci to my name.

We needed something to hold them, and could not really think of anything else. So I grabbed our Zip tie gun and we make some really long zip ties and called it a day. Once i get home i have more pictures of Drew's beat3r that we took this weekend.

Like I said in the other thread... I could not have lost to a better Jetter... (hmmm Drew... the "Better Jetter")...

And nothing beats the night we shared at Mid-Ohio in the Van... *wink wink*

Nice Pics guys

Congrats Drew I couldn't think of a better person to sell it to. I have had that car dirty but nothing like you have with the snow and slush.

If I remember correctly that grill isn't held in very well so maybe zip tying to it isn't the greatest of ideas.

The hood pins hold the grille, not the other way around.

Ahhh, that's beautiful.

Drew, your devotion to the Focus is inspiring even to a Focus enthusiast like myself... even your beater looks hawt and makes me want to lower my car just a lil' bit more...

FOTM = A Focus voted on by your peers deeming who is the best competitor in the category. No need to be confused.

When you start putting your own blood, sweat and tears into these cars, it becomes more clear.

Until then, onward with the confusion.

FOTM has a different theme each month. If you checked out the Nominations thread for the March FOTM, you would have understood this:

Haha that is awesome! I bet it is fun to drive. Are those stock steelies with the lip polished? I should do that to the steelies on my 06 beater!
