Yeah no ****. I'll call ya. We'll throw some shoes.
In all honesty the AC system is easy to take out. 4 17 (i think) mm bolts on block, couple 10 or 13mm retaining bolts, some lines, a couple torx bolts for fittings, done. makes good room for an intercooler.

No freon is going to come out and kill small woodland creatures? We have lots of chipmunks that love my car. I scare them out from under it every time I walk by.
Too bad my girlfriend isn't here this weekend. We could get her drunk and have some real shoe competition. Sam, right now the stock fabric seats are doing me well. If I do go leather, I'll let you know.

Yeah, definitely. I just helped my girlfriend paint her living room. Fun times. Taking off the outlet covers and switch covers are a bitch. They decided painting over them 10 times was easier so you really have to yank on them.

My tailpipe decided it wanted to be dragged down the road at 10pm. I stopped, yanked it off the hanger and now it rides around in the hatch. 3" time.

Took the XR to her first show today. Small euro only show with about 50 cars and was judged by the participants. Didn't win anything, but I overheard one of the people running it say as they were counting the ballots "That Merkur will NOT get best in show". I had about 10 people come up to me and get the car number so they could put it for best in show. Oh well.

Heck, I will take off your AC here...you just need to take it back home with you.

Haha, I was real tempted to cut it at the DP and go for a drive, but I'd have nothing to put on.
I'll just do a 3" setup. Need to get some free time which is going to be hard now that school has started.

get the bends and the straights. you want it louder than my car so i wouldn't go with my combo of muffling, but with the turbo i'd say either single muffler or single res (might sound nice can always add later). or check out sam's when his gets back up and running (should be tonight) - his has more of an aggressive growl.

I heard it idling when we got it fired up and it sounded great. I'd like to hear it run through the rev range and see how it sounds before I do the same muffler and cat.

Found my oil leak today in the middle of campus. Lost about 1/4 quart there and probably getting close to 1 quart down. Had it towed back due to a hole rusted in the oil pan.

Just an update. Front coilovers are on, MBC installed, turbo timer installed, downpipe to muffler with exit under the car (temporary for now), 15" Spatula wheels painted bronze (new 17's on the way), and Koni shocks in the rear.
