Default One Sad-Happy Day

The time came that I had to trade in my baby girl, an 04 SVT CD Silver. I grew to love that car over the past 3 years (much in-part because of the FocalJet community), but the Vermont roads were starting to take their toll on her.

But, I cannot complain too much because I got a car that I have wanted for the past 8 years, an 08 Subaru WRX. It is a fun car that I can get into a lot of trouble with.

Right now I kind of feel like I just broke up with my long time girlfriend and I am now dating a new girl, but I know that my ex-girlfriend is sleeping with some other guy and I am not completely over her.

Man, I'd love a WRX, but I just can't justify paying for premium gas...

I'm actually thinking of going ZX5 for the next car I really just need a four-door for carseat purposes. Dealing with moving that thing in and outta my ZX3 is gonna be hell.

i actually really like the subie sedans, i wish they wouldve continued making the sti a sedan rather than just a hatch.

Bummer you had to get rid of the SVT. Hopefully she went to a good home. The new WRX looks great though! Hopefully it will be alot of fun.

I know your pain. About a year and a half ago I had to get a company car, and it is very nice. So my wife took over driving my Focus. As much as I liked the new car, I dreaded my wife driving my Focus. I missed my Focus. Luckily I still have it though. I do not plan on ever getting rid of it.

yeah, they come in auto, but I am not too sure how many are out there, I don't think there is a very high demand for them. Plus, for the WRX, I believe that autos actually decrease the value of the car over time because people want manual WRX's over autos FWIW.

So far the things I miss about the SVT:
1. The 6 speed getrag. I love that transmission, it is awesome.
2. The HIDs
3. The handling of the Focus
4. Fitting into tight parking spots.

I am having a lot of fun with the turbo and the AWD though.
