Talking Finally have something to post here.

Well I have been carless for about 2 months now and haven't had a "cool" car since my 94 Supercoupe so... I ran acrossed this gem at a used car lot and for some reason (4.6 V-8 ) no one was looking at this thing. I picked it up for less than $2K! 93,xxx on the clock and only 3,xxx in the last year!!!!!

Here are some shots. I know that I need to clean it up more but I have some football to watch today.

Nose

Front Shot

Passenger side

Rear

Drivers side

Miles!!!

Sticker Price

Running total and options

Not bad for 2 grand. I used to have a 95 in pearl white w/ the 4.6 . . . first thing is to lower it and get a magnaflow exhaust. Oh, and if ya want swap out the rear drums for disks!

Indeed I didn't look at the first one that closely. Any specific mods planned or gonna leave it stock through winter?

Nothing planned. Whatever I do it's going to be my daily driver so they will need to be quick and subtle.

Do a trans flush right away, should give you some more miles out of it.

Congrats on the new car and new job!

Nice. My pops has a 1996 v6 with 230k on it and running fine. Those are nice cruiser cars and the seats are most comfy! I believe that is the last year for that body style and you got the cup holders that don't suck!

Crap my 3rd cat is toast. I think that's why the guy got rid of it. Anyone know where I can find a cheap X pipe?

Summit Racing - buy yourself an xpipe and mufflers (2.25") and have a muffler shop do ya up an exhaust while you're at it

I don't know if I wanna go with mufflers just yet. I want to keep all mods small and quick. I want this to be a nice DD with 250-300 to the wheels when all is said and done. Nothing fancy at all. Can you guys reccommend something cheap to do first?

If you're going to mod it, the car needs to breathe, right?

Best 'make a car guy happy/bang for your buck' mod is a free-flowing exhaust. Not only will it sound good, but you'll need it if you start throwing bolt-ons at the car. A dual 2.25" exhaust is perfect for the horsepower range you're shooting for.

True but would it be better to go with a custom fabrication or an out of the box solution?

If you can get an out of the box cat-back, go for it. I couldn't, so I had it fabbed up.

Gotcha. I have to find a good shop around here. I haven't had any muffler needs for the last 7 years!

Nice Dev!!!!

I was a huge fan of the SC, never drove the V8 but I did love the 240hp SC version (at least back when I was a kid)

I have had the SC, 2.3, 3.8, and now the 4.6. I like the get up and go on the SC a little better but I like the options that I have on the 4.6 as well. Thanks guys.
