well, after 18 years of wanting one of these, I got one. its rough. it needs work. its ugly as sin. but I love it.
so I present to you, the beast. a 1978 Ford Bronco. 400m, C6 trans, dana 44 front, and a 9" rear axle. currently running a rancho 3.5" suspension lift and sitting on 31's. ![]() ![]() the immediate plans are: 1. Fix timing....done. ![]() 2. fix rear window power switch. done. ![]() 3. Brakes all around 4. clean out inside 5. put new track bar on 6. use 1 case krylon black to make it all one color. 7. get 35" bfg mud terrains. 8. beat the crap out of it.

9. Drive around neighborhoods offering candy to children.
10. Go on a high speed police chase on an open highway. I added two final steps for you ![]() That thing is definitely large, that's for sure ![]() -Brian

Are you gonna do a complete restoration, or just keep it running? I've always wanted an old Bronco. Also, if you can, post some interior pics. I love the way interiors look on old vehicles.

Just kidding bro Nice. I'd rock one of those. Don't have to worry about curbs again, small animals, children, etc.
