Nice Euro
I am thinking of picking up a Dolphin grey 06 A4 2.0T to drive along with my focus. A nice turbo upgrade will see you 300hp/320TQ |

yeah it will be quite easy to increase the power very very quickly. I'm pretty positive I'm going to do the suspension work first, and then start looking into things like an APR stage 1 kit then progressively stage 2 with accompanying exhaust. Big plans! little money.

whats wrong with candy white? My old passat was that color, and that was the color I was originally looking for. But this silver one was cheaper by quite a bit so I wen't for that. Reflex Silver seems to be the least common color in the mk V.

I haven't posted on FJ in a long while, but I figured I'd show a few new pics of my MKV.
I've been following all the recent rigs threads and I've seen some pretty awesome cars coming up lately. Makes me miss my orange beast ![]() (Oh and in case anyone was wondering what I used to shoot these. They were all taken with my Canon 1DmkIII and either my 24mm f/1.4L or 16-35mm f/2.8L lenses. I was going for a wider-angle for this series. All post-processing was done in Photoshop CS3 on a Mac.) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Sweet pics! Did you lower it? It looks really nice!
I want to lower it, but I don't want to go super low. I also ordered some 18 ASA AR2s/ machined with the antracite... I thought they'd go good, especially after it gets a drop.

Thanks brian! I know I've not been around much, it's been really crazy lately with work and I haven't had as much time to do my ritual forum reading. But I'm trying
![]() and yes I did lower it, I don't have wheels yet but I'm running it on an H&R sport cup kit. It's about a 2" drop in the front and about 1.6" or so in the rear. So it has a bit of a raked stance, wasn't really expecting that, but I don't not like it ![]() It's very compliant on the freeway and it handles SO much better. I'm going to keep most if not all of my mods as strictly performance so I was going to hang on to the classix for a while and just get some better tires, along with front and rear sways from H&R and hopefully a GIAC flash soon ![]() |

Holy Momma. The mix of b&w, sharpness and bokeh in the third photo is like an image taken from inside one of my dreams. The GTI looks great too.Last edited by Wilshire : 06-22-2008 at 11:39 PM. |

The GranTurismo cover is badass man, thanks for making that and thinking my shot is worthy
![]() oh and warmonger - your xt wouldn't explode because you took awesome pictures. to be honest with you I could have easily made this shot with your xt. Granted it DOES help to have awesome lenses on your camera, but it shouldn't limit what you shoot. All of those had some serious photoshop tweaking anyways. So I KIND-OF cheated ![]() |
