it was a hard choice ..for me between the hard work that went into the merkur and the clean look of the miata...but my vote went to belacyrf..for the miata..

Although I'm last, I have to say, I'm estatic to have even been in the poll!! If my car wasn't in the thread, I would have had a HARD time voting for someone. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but other cars in the voting have had alot of blood, sweat, and tears in it unlike my car. The only "real" thing's I've done to it is change a half shaft and change the clutch. Although a long process to change both, swapping motors and custom fabing parts, I think, are a much bigger feat.

To who ever wins this month, my hats off to you. This is one of the few monthly votings that EARNED their e-trophy.

Hey, On the plus side your car has far and away the most potential for pure horsepower and speed out of the whole group.

Work on it a bit and next time this theme comes around you could take it easily.

All I have to say is it needs more Whipple or Hellion if you're really brave!

Steve - hocky's car i'd say has the most potential for horsepower, - followed by joe's stang. Unless anyone else in the group puts an LSx in their car...

I'd like to remind you that there are ALOT of Twin Turbo 350Z's out there that are making close to 1000hp. and TONS of daily driven Z's with over 700whp.

The only reason I didn't vote for lowlifestyle's five&dime was based purely on the level of completion of the project.

In my heart, the five&dime deserves the win but I can't, in good conscience, give it my vote in its current state considering that the competitors cars are complete (or close to being complete, I know a project car is never done).

That said, I voted for the car I'd want to drive.

(And no, I'm definitely not a hairdresser!)

I did say potential didn't I?

I have a local customer with an '03 Cobra, with a 100% stock engine but running a Hellion 88 turbo in place of the Eaton he put down a best of 999 WHP and a quarter mile time of 9.20.

He has since upgraded cams and pistons but is otherwise stock and hit a best of 1143 whp and over 1200 lb ft and a quarter time of 8.75 and I recently heard rumor of a 1300 whp dyno run after his winter work.

Slightly older dyno but it's all I've got,

And a slightly older 1/4 mile video,

It may be heavy but it runs in the 8's and makes it look easy, No drama at all.

Go to Youtube and type in "Fastmark" or "Mark Larson" and you'll find newer video.
