I'm really not trying to start an argument here, That 9.20 was a very old run and it was on DOT 10 inch drag radials.
Like I said, This fall he got into the 8.75 range on slicks and was dynoing in the 1000 hp range.
His has got a full interior, stereo, A/C and a cage. He could lighten it if he wanted to but it's also a very well mannered street car.
We've also got a local guy with an old fox body car with a twin turbo 427 in it, He put down almost 1200 whp last year but that was just to see what it'd do on a dyno because he can't control the car even under lower boost.
No question weight is the enemy but an 8 second daily driveable Cobra is pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
BTW-post up the videos, I always love to see stuff like that.
