Same process as any other wheel or did you have to do a little more prep after getting the clear coat off because of the bare aluminum?

I have a few ideas of what I want for mine once I get my replacement delivered.

Honestly, I scrubbed them well, masked off the portions I wanted to keep shiny, lightly sanded the bare sections, applied primer, wheel paint, and then wheel clear.

Not really a whole lot to it although these wheels do seem to be chipping a bit easier than past wheels I've painted. Could be the specific clear they use or the low temp conditions I painted them in.

I'd also still like to get the aero panel that installs in the front of the rack as I've always liked the look of them and the rack whistles a bit on the freeway in its current state.

Any link to where you got it? Thanks.

I actually bought mine used but it is just the standard Thule roof rack for a Focus ZX3. Plus their bike attachments. Beware though...it's a little pricey.

Actually, the Centerlines don't come with any clearcoat on them... they're just bare polish.

It is for sure.

It came from a person who's main automotive hobby is cleaning and polishing cars. It was garaged every day, never allowed out into the snow, and had around 25k on it.

It was also my dream car.

Though.... as for driving driving adventure, I'd rather drive your Duratec Focus than his Duratec Focus.

Carbon may be smooth, but Animal is.... an animal.

And your right, the rack alone is over 300.
