Wow, never seen the inside of an engine bay, and you started working on that thing in 03, if I do my math correctly, thats like 5 years of freshness never tainted.....mmmmmmmm

Got to spend some time on the car today. Today I took the windage tray off and swapped the correct one in. (engine is for a Ford Escape) I also installed the SVTF header. I had other things to do but one of the parts didnt arrive in time and it held up the rest of the project. I think next weekend I'll have the powertrain actually IN the car.

Here it is with the old tray off:

look at those shiny mains

And here she is, all buttoned up!

Nice!!! I remember this car well. It was famous. I saw a pic of Freddy's focus today too and that brought back some memories as well! Cool build up. Good Luck!

Man, I really missed this car today. Was at a Rallycross running a friends Celica, but I wished so much I still had this focus which was supposed to be built for Rallycross/Track.

The second place overall car was a Ford Focus....

hey derrick, Iw as going to call you about it but that old dipstick and tube is sitting int he back of the Rocus. you can have it anytime you want. and yes, I do need some wires soon. I have a used set on there now that came with the coil I bought but you know how used OEM wires are.

Yesterday I put a new dogbone mount on my red car and pressed urethane bushings into the old one for use on the Rocus. I also put a few odds and sods together on the car. I didnt take any pics because I wasn't very motivated about it.

Where the hell is the beer?

Not only are you apparently slacking off, but there was no damn beer in the pictures.

ok, finally, some new pics!!!!

Ive been collecting parts but havent made it to the shop to do anything. Today, I was going to stab the engine but I realized I forgot to buy the correct size flywheel bolts so it will have to wait a week.

the good news is, I got some F'n seats for it!!!!!

also, I installed the lower grill donated by silverbullitzx3 and the fog lights from cjmartiny. thanks guys, you're the best.

and just because I love you, a pic of the Prestige Tuning family.

thanks guys! I keep looking at the pics because Im in love with those seats. figures the focus has the most expensive sliders (99/ea) I want to get this steering wheel to go with them, no idea when though.

Im going to Alamo Bolt and Screw on monday to track down some longer flywheel bolts for the dual mass fly and then I should have everything I need to mate the drivetrain and drop it in the car. That'll be a red letter day!
