Painter says that the mirrors will be done this week. He's finally catching up on all of his work that he missed when he went on vacation.

I finally got to go work on my car again. I swapped out the steering column for the new one, transfered over the turn signal switch and clockspring, and swapped the steering wheel with the one in my sedan. I now have the nice leather wrapped wheel in the sedan and the rocus gets my old foam jobber untill I buy the momo Nero wheel. I also got the harness hung back up and the headlights and grille reinstalled. I was informed today that I have to get my junk running soon because the landlord is getting pissed about the plethora of dead cars behind the shop. I guess he forgot that he rented his building to a shop. So in the interest of time, I am forgoing the rest of the unecessary mods untill after the car is driving. I am thinking of renting a storage unit to keep it in so the landlord dosent fuss and I can work on it better at times more convenient to me.

Sorry I have no pics, swapping the column isnt very photogenic.

I must say, the leather wheel is very nice. I love it alot and dont miss my foam POS at all.

Wait.....the landlord is bitching about cars parked behind a car shop?

Headlights in, doors closed, no one will know the car doesn't have an engine in it.....

hes trying to rent one of the adjacent units. the cars that never move agitate him I guess. Im sure Mark can put him off for quite some time. But I still have to get it running reasonably soon as a gesture of goodwill.

if he rents the unit soon, Im sure he will forget all about it.
