I know. Just joking.

Personally, I think he should have set one down in front of the Porsche just for grins.

In all other pics prior to the engine pics, he always had a bottle (or can) of brew in the shot. In doing so, he set a precedent that must be maintained throughout the rest of the build now.

well, yesterday was the day I was going to put the engine and transmission in. My 30$ SVTF flywheel bolts came in (retail is 60$, I was able to get them wholesale thru the local dealer)

So I bolted on the flywheel and then put the pressure plate in the press to set the self adjusting clutch to zero.

then I bolted the clutch on and went to stab the trans on it. after multiple tries, closer inspection revealed the slave cylinder had popped all the way out of the housing and was jamming up the process. I was already gambling on the slave so seing that the seal had already popped all the way out, I decided to pitch it and order a new one. the best part is when I pulled the slave out, the transmission front seal came out with it. gotta get one of those too. So the clutch and flywheel came back off and the motor went back on the stand for another week.

We need another update by the end of the weekend Patrick. Don't forget the beer.
