Default Tint G2G!!!!11!!one!111 pics galore!

Well, this past weekend, we had a little tint G2G over at the in-laws...since they have a garage.

I know most of you don't realize that I own 2 focus' because I have never posted any pics of my white ZX5. This will be the first time

Robert (Sanzx360) also showed up to have his windows done....but....on with the pics!

Oh, and Please excuse the dirty cars. We all have been way too busy to even worry about washing them...

Before the tint on Sanzx360's car:

Shrinking the back window:

Getting the roll-ups all fixed up:

And.....after the tinting is completed.....SO MUCH BETTER!!!

The one in the middle is my other focus that my (new) wife drives. Notice the crack in the front bumper..... I've got a new bumper for it....but I just don't know when I'll have time to get it on there....

30% in the front 15% in the back:

I have 15% all the way around:

the "before" on my ZX5:

and....afters:

Thanks for looking!

dave.

Lookin good!

What brand is that? Llumar?

I usually don't like to different shades on the sides, but it blends nicely.

Looks like I've got some learning to do, I thought the tint was supposed to go on the inside or the outside, not both.

it not, you put it on the outside so you can get it to shape up and cut it, then apply on the inside, much easier this way

yeah, it's Llumar.

I did the 30/15 because we don't want any tickets.....

They usually don't hassle you around Texas because it gets so damn hot, but every now and then you'll get that one ******* cop.....

Good job Dave!!! I had no idea that you could do window tinting. After reading the last few posts it looks like you could spend a few months on the road going around the US tinting Focaljet members cars...haha. I didn't know that your wife also had a Focus. Any plans for that one? Did you ever decide on some wheels for yours??

Hey Mark!

Yeah, we've had that white one since we lived in NC.

We've got no plans for the ZX5. She uses it to get to and from work...and that's about it.

It's only got about 60,000 miles on it.....while mine has 85,000.

I'd like to spend time going across the country working on cars, but I couldn't stand to live in hotel rooms...

That's why I'm not out there chasing hail every hail season....

As for wheels, yes, I have some picked out, but I'm making sure they are exactly what I want.

The ZX5 with the gold wheels is SanZX360's.
