Default ok...let's hear it (flame suit on)

Well, some of you may have seen my post about possibly getting rid of my 350z and getting something more economical because it's not unusual for me to drive over 100 miles/day for work. The Z was just getting beat to hell, and premium gas and sub 20mpg's don't mix. Anyways...let's hear it...here she is.

2008 Focus SES Coupe
Black, fully loaded, moon roof, heated leather, SYNC, Audiophile, ect. I even got them to throw in a Garmin for me. It helps that my dad is the Parts manager, and he told me that they ordered 200 of them for Memorial day sales. I also got the car on the D plan, along with about $2500 in rebates, I ended up paying about $15k. Can't beat it. 5yr/100k mile warranty.

I'll take better pics tomorrow. Not that it's necessary...it's just stock. I'll take a pic of them together, I still have to put the Z back to stock. They're gonna let me bring it home to take my stuff off.
So I traded this:

For This:

The End

Oh man. I loved that Z you had! Any plans on modding the 08? The interior looks pretty rad. You'll definetly pay a lot less for gas.

that focus could still be "economical" w/ a turbo

Of course I do plan on modding it....if you have seen any of my other cars.
IE:

I will probably just do wheels, tint, drop, 3d Carbon lip kit, intake, exhaust...ect. I'm gonna try and not get carried away to the point that I defeat the purpose of buying this car.

I bet FR EAP's would look good on your car with a nice drop!

It isn't a HUGE downgrade, but it is one. Both are very nice cars. Congrats on the new car man.

Thanks...this is my first Brand New car...and I felt pretty selfish being bummed about trading the Z....I should be excited about buying a brand new car...but I REALLY loved that Z.

Nothing like a nice warranty eh? I know the Z probably had one, but atleast you know ALL the history of the Focus.

The Z was actually just out of warranty.

Revo...I already had my Dad give me a price for the Focus S fenders, which are just solid. Don't worry...it will be one of the first things to go.

Yea, I was gonna say. That Z was pretty nice But then again, so was that MK1 Focus. Either way, I can't wait to see how this one turns out. Good luck with the new ride!

Okay....a Focus over a 350Z?!?!!?!?!? Since it's for gas mileage, then yes nice choice.

Now to get back your lost points for losing the Z, get the start on modding that '08. Mod it as much as you can because we need to start seeing some modded '08 Foci on this board.

The green zx3 was a good looking car. You do enjoy tinkering. You must have the tuning bug.

That sucks the Z was out of warranty, I've heard of some pretty bad clutch issues with those.

Amen to that! The only 08's that I've seen modded are the FS and Steeda foci. I am curious to see what other people will do with these cars.

i was looking basically the exact car a few weeks ago. very tempting. but i owed too much on my truck.

very cool car. aside from the height .. there isnt anything i can really say i dislike. well .. the fender ... thing ... but that is technically optional, its not the only way it comes. so things easily changed .. no biggie.

and isnt that vent just on there like a regular emblem? i was told you can just remove it

Congrats on the new car. Sorry to see the 350 go, I know you loved that car, but it really was a decision for the best. Can't wait to see what you make of that new Focus. It's in good hands.

Its sad to see such a beautiful ride go! At least I knew about it before everyone else Hehe! I know the focus is gonna look hot after you mod it! I love the inside of those and im sure you will make it just as hot as the focussport 08's! Anyways Justin do you know if the any of the 08's come with a Nav system? Or would you be able to put an aftermarket Nav in that dash? And I know its hard for you to let your baby go but you can always get something later! Cant wait to see ya mod it!

For sure one of the first things I would do! Then lower it and rims! Tint the tails! I could go on and on! But I wont! Haha!
