I can fit 4, and still use the cover. But then the nuckleheads won't shut up with the jokes and make too much noise. INS is tough nowadays!

Definitely a nice bumper, and the lower portion painted black looks great. Everytime I see this bumper I want to fill in the side duct though...

That is a spectacular eagle's eye view of the Winding Road in the lower elevations. All those pics are cool. Is that area in the pic a state park in Baja California [BC]? Or is that a scenic look-out off the "Autopista"?
You gotta love the winding 2-lane roads in MX! It definitely tests my vehicle's handling capabilities and my driving skills when I am "south of the border".... The only thing is none of my vehicles ever liked the Pemex Gas or even got used to it.... I even made sure I waited for a large renovated Modern Pemex Gas station to fill up at & to take a break....But I always had extra bottles of FI Cleaner for those trips.

Are the custom-made Euro-size MX state plates still in style? It seem legal to have european size plates [custom made with the same reflective mexican state design & numbers pressed] on the rears of cars with the euro plate openings instead of the North American Standard Rectangular Plate.

CURIOUS- What are you current gas prices for both regular & premium?
[I know the price will be in pesos and per liter- not a problem]

Thanks Mister!

Well, That road is an AutoPista (Toll Road). It's La Rumorosa, well known for it's awesome curves, and years back also well know as one of the most dangerous highways in Baja... this was when it was a regular 2 lane highway. It's now a split 4 lane. Altitude is about 4,100 feet at the top and drops to sea level at the bottom.

Since it's in Tecate, La Rumorosa's very close to the border. So fuel isn't really a problem. And actually, the fuel down here has much improved. Pemex stations (and for those that don't know, all gas stations in Mex are called Pemex and are government owned.) have been changing alot these days. Gas price for premium fuel is $ 8.62 pesos a Lt. So If a gallon has 3.785 lts... i got:

8.62 x 3.78 = 32.62

Average exchange rate at the moment is $ 10.25 pesos to each dollar. So:

32.62 Pesos would be 3.18 Dollars

I can't remember what the price is for regular, it's 7.XX.

Fuel is cheaper in Mex than in the US.

Some one please jump in and correct me.

As for the Euro plates, we actually do have them:

But, they're only available for most cars sold new in dealerships down here. And i think they have to be Euro.
There are some idiots that make their own, which is not legal. But, for some reason authorities aren't too bitchy about that.

And thanks everyone!

YES!!!!
That exactly what I am refering to.... Those are cool, you should get those for your Focus.

I am into collecting license plates as a hobby and was able to get a custom Euro-Mex license plate made back in 1998 when the plates were green & white. I had it installed on my truck- everywhere I went everybody thought it was a cool plate and want one for their rides. Then BAMMM!!! someone backed into it!
I can't seem to up-load/post a pic of my EuroMex plate..... sorry! I am going to find out why the site won't let me post pics....

I was going to see if you knew more information on the company that makes those Euro-Mex plates because I wanted to have a new one made. At this point, It does not matter which mexican state is printed as long as it is personalized.

Not that far actually. I just went to Mexicali a few weeks back. It's only 1.5 hours. And it's a fun drive.
