Hey guys, new from OH - Focaljet

Lol Well I don't have "before" pictures of when I brought it home... It hadn't even been WASHED in probably 6 months. The guy stopped driving it and parked it at his grandparents house. The interior was bad too. I shampooed all the seat inserts and headliner, that did wonders. THe shampooer has a clear head so you can see the color of the shampoo being vacummed out...EW. I Windexed the hell out of those windows too Haha.

I've got pictures of that stuff, but before I pulled the hideous front bumper, and it was also before wax.

These are the old pictures of it after only a bath.

Of course the red bezels are back to black, and the seats are clean, and it has a factory Audiophile unit back in it.

Other plans I forgot..
Window tint!
Paint the wheels black/charcoal with polished lip -- Pending everyone's opinion
Paint the calipers red
Niteshade the taillights
ST170 Upper grille
ST170 Headlights

Welcome...keep the wheels like they are, and don't niteshade the tails. They look better red on a Red car...it ruins the lines of the car when you niteshade on a red car. my $.02.

yeah i would def axe the front bump, a suggestion for the wheels maybe paint the lip red and the wheel flat black? or glossy

Yeah guys, the pics are before I pulled the front bumper...

I've still got some money to sink into the car to get it back from neglect, and I will be ordering some parts from Steve, but I"m taking my time doing so, I don't want to spend "too much" with Christmas and 2 vacations coming up

Incase you didn't follow the link, I have since painted the interior pieces black again, and shampooed the interior. It still needs some misc stuff however. Next up I look to tackle a coolant leak I discovered when I backed it out of the garage... I know I saw something about a common coolant leak, I just haven't looked into it yet.

those wheels are very nice, but I'm glad you ditched the front bumper. Your clutch pedal looks to have seen some use....how many miles are on the car?

90K on the car. Yeah, the clutch petal is slick, I've got to replace that before it snows... I have a feeling icy boots may be tricky with that petal.

Honestly when I bought the car, I was only looking for a Focus, and then found this SVT that needed work. I drove it home for 3200$. I think he could've got much more if he'd have just CLEANED IT. I was originally planning on "just driving it" and leaving the truck parked, but the more I learn about these cars, the more I want to make it into a project! Lol

When i get home I'll attempt to get some new pictures of the car, cleaned up. The seats look REALLY bad in that picture, and they look a million times better now.

I think I'm going to tell my body shop guy to go ahead and get the stock front bumper ready for me, and I'll HOPEFULLY be ordering the lower grill insert and the foglights and hardware before Thanksgiving. I've got so much going on though, its tough.

Glad to see its getting some love. I do hope that you plan on scrapping that bumper...you really cant beat the looks of the OE SVT bumper
