Not a Focus...but... - Focaljet

...it's our Jeep. Over the last week I pretty much tackled all the changes you can see...De-badge, tint, rims, tires...Here is a before shot:

I actually wanted to wait till tomorrow so I have some time to take better pix, but I could not wait. These rims/tires give the Riot the more 'bully' look I felt it was lacking with the stock rims. The rims push the tires out about 1"-1.25", but not too much. I'm very happy I went with 18s. They drive like a dream. No issues with the TPMS which was already installed. Here is the Info:

MBM Battle 18x8 43mm
235/50-18 BFGoodrich G-Force KWDS

And to compare...Stock vs New set up:
Stock 215/60-17

235/50-18

I know I did a lot of things to it a 'normal' jeep guy would probably not do, but this is what I like and I am very pleased how it turned out....

Thanks! Jeeps are really not my thing either...but we will have this one for a couple years. I just wanted to be different from all the other ones in this town/area....

Looks good. Ever consider Color-matching the "Patriot" lettering to match the body color?

Thanks for the comments. I was actually considering getting rid of/bondo the Patriot in the rear, and color match the silver bumper covers and moldings, and the mirrors and handles to the color of the rims....

Looks good, I don't think I've ever seen multi-spokes on a Jeep. By the way, that rear wiper looks TINY!

Very clean mods to the Patriot, Ollie!

You should pick up a previously-pwn3d Focus and tinker with it.

They've better mpg than the Jeep; you could have both.

Thanks! I have been debating to pick one up...but my wife will kick the hell out of me if I do that, as she knows how much $$ I dropped into my Focus...and I do not think she would like a repeat...LOL

I think I should buy some BFGs as my next set of tires simply for the ease of applying tire shine/tire black. LOL. There's practically nothing textured into the sidewall except some fine print! Amazing...

Looking good, ORLY. Again, very clean and tasteful modifcacciones! The Icons are the crowning touch. Rofl!

I just put the first 100 miles on the tires and the car drives so differently. These tires stick. It actually seems like the car is a lot more fun to drive than before...

..but yet again...it's still a jeep...LOL
