Well I'd change the suspension to something high quality first if I were you. Highlight the strongpoint of the car, then work into the weak point. I love my KW Variant 1 coilovers. Other good choices are H&R coilovers or quality dampner/spring combos.
After that you can either stay NA and with a bunch of boltons get around 160whp, which is plenty fun. OR call Focussport and drop a few grand to get a ton of power for a car so small. There are no superchargers out there for us 05+ guys. I have a 2.3 with just bolt ons, no cams or anything plus a great clutch/flywheel made by Exedy and a limited slip and it is a riot to drive. Oh and a 4.06 final drive ratio from Ford Racing. Either way its fun and kind of expensive so it all depends on how fast you want to go!
