My journey on FJ began quite a few years...I can thank Drew for finding this site....and luring me into the Jet family. We've had many great years....going to g2g's and meeting up with Jetters 'round the country. Your all thuper! And one of these days we will make it to FOTB. My first Focus....was of course Y2K ZX3. Thanks to Drew for suggesting I buy a ZX3 and dragging me to the dealership for a test drive. I was immediately sold on the idea of driving a manual again. He promptly started recommending mods....even buying them on his own at the age of 13. During this time...Drew and I moved to Ft. Myers, FL from NorCal...Mind you Drew still isn't old enough to drive.  Things went really well for us there...it was a good environment to "start" your life over....A year goes by....and out of the blue...a complimentary note from a Jetter. He lived in MI....we exchanged many notes and phone calls...we met and basically fell in Love...our long distance Love continued for over 2 yrs...he proposed...then I moved to MI in 2004. We married 2 yrs ago...barefoot on the beach @ Ft. Myers Beach.  I gave Drew Y2K ZX3 when I left FL....because Christopher owned a Black SVT which I knew would be amazing to drive. I only had it a few months when...the engine blew in it..and the warranty was up so it sat for a long time. Chris & Drew found a rolled over SVT and Drew and his buddies did an engine swap and it was finally awakened after all that time. During this time...Ron the founder of FJ was selling the 2nd FJ project car...Drew wanted it bad...but, couldn't swing it. I wanted it bad...but, thought no way would we be able to buy it. After all, Chris just bought a rolled over SVT to fix his. So, without my knowing it...my wonderful & loving husband...pm'd Ron and told him he wanted to buy it for ME.  And being the great & generous guy he is....he told Drew when he was done putting the engine in the SVT....it was HIS !! Hence, his Black SVT -Awakend. I became the proud owner of the FJ SVT project car almost a year ago....and was ecstatic to be back in Focus again....the icing on the cake was it was Supercharged. I finally had a faster car then my kid.  Of course Drew started with the mod gifts for my birthday... Boost gauge and Volant intake Chris just bought me the OZ Chronos..(that were originally on the car) And I upgraded to a nice "meaty" tire. In the near future I would like to tint the windows. But, not much else right now....it costs to much to buy gas and groceries these days. Why I remember when gas was....  I Love You Guys & Gals.... your ALL the BEST.
