OMG! We Had a G2G in Tulsa With More Than 3 People! - Focaljet

One weeks notice.......post FOTB G2G in Tulsa and 6 people showed up!

It has always been hard to find Focus enthusiasts in the Tulsa area, and then find a good time for everyone to meet, but this week worked out pretty good. Only one person who said they were going to show didn't make it. Tonight we had:

Ataru:

02AllBlackSVT:

walls2004 - Drove in from Edmond, over an hour away.....mad props!

and vadersho - I don't think he's on [FJ] yet:

It was nice having a 3 hour chat and dinner with some fellow Focus friends:

Andrew showed off his new black powdercoated valve cover and painted plug cover:

Still a work in progress........needs a good sanding and a few more coats of paint on the plug cover:

It's hard to be in the pictures when you are the one taking them all:

215/40/17s plus a stock supsension = LET'S GO MUDDIN!

New suspension is in the works.

It didn't take me long after getting back from Cali to wash up Sonic:

Andrew's been a little busy however........

Afterwards we drove to the Casino parking garage for some night shots........

He already has tint, so you can't throw the "drop and tint" line at him either....

Someone drove by and saw him on the ground and thought we were attacking him I guess, so shortly after 4 armed security guards came by to see what we were doing. The were cool when they saw we were taking pictures and started to walk away and let us continue to shoot..............until 2 minutes later when they walked back and said that management said we had to leave.

So that ended our night.....but hopefully started a weekly Focus meet here in Tulsa. Much fun guys......thanks for showing up.

Doesnt look to bad. Still work in progress. Coming soon Ceramic Coated SVT Header, redo the spark plug cover, and finish the oil cap. Maybe do the Intake.

Did you get the manager's card? A simple phone call before a photo op would probably be all it took to get the okay. Offering to bring him a shake from SonicBurger delivered by Sonic might not be a bad idea either

seems like Sonic is quite the happening place for G2Gs lately. I am halfway temped to drive over there one weekend. Just to get out of Amarillo lol.

As for the manager thing, I didn't worry about it. It was at the Cherokee Casino which is quite large and it would have been a mess to get in direct contact with him for such an impromptu photo shoot. The security guards were not jerks about it, so when they told us we had to leave, we just left.

So we had a not-so-impromptu get together here in Tulsa last Sunday. Attending was Ataru, Phacade, 02AllBlackSVT, Walls2004, Hood25, and VaderSHO. The amazing thing is, six cars and not one of them turned out to be the same color! After poking around at Sonic for a bit, eating some food, and taking shop for a bit; most of us made our way over to the Casino parking garage for some photos. I had a great time and can't wait to do it again. On to the pics!
