about the same as dual adjustable Motons for a focus!

nah, not that much but not nearly as bad as it could have been! i got them used but are brand new! paid about $0.30 on the dollar.
rears are adjustable with 968 Clevis upper mounts, which are super rare! I looked around and couldn't find any places that listed but after a little research and a few phone calls i managed to track down what appears to be the only place you can get them from... they wanted more per rear shock than a complete set of focus coilovers.... and that's without springs, perches or the clevis mounts!

thank goodness i found these little gems in the hands of someone who didn't really know what he had!

Back from the dead!

Picked her up from the body shop last night after getting the top installed, a patch of rust bubbles the right 1/4 panel fixed and a few refitting of doors/trunks.

Outside is 99.9% done, just have to install the 3rd brake light.
inside still has a bunch of stuff to do including the relocation of the header controls, installing the Renline pedals and track mats and it is going to get a new Kenwood 993 deck for possible SQ competitions next summer.

it was pissing rain when i brought it home so please excuse not having better pics, i'll get a real shoot done once the interior is done!
but on with the pics...

and a couple from the dyno session right before it went to the body shop....

398.4rwhp and 361.3lb/ft @ .8bar

nice to see this thread again! your 930 looks great! Are those the 993 look bumpers? I know that was a popular mod for the 930.

They are RUF replica bumpers that i had the square fog light boxes shaved and replaced with Xenon Micro DEs.

i dunno what turbo aircooled 911s you have been listening to but they don't really sound all that cool. water cooleds sound even worse imho. they don't sound anything like a Subaru which has a pretty awesome note to it. don't get me wrong, they don't sound bad but there are many engines that sound far better that a Porsche aircooled turbo flat six!

and what's wrong with having Music? girls don't care for the sounds of an engine and it needs to be loud at 100+ with the top down!

Is it bad that I'm more impressed with the cool landscaping/layout of the houses/how they're facing different directions and whatnot?

Went for a LONG drive in this car down to seattle and back with Mitch last night. Man that this just destroys highway miles! Speeds a Focus feels sketchy at it just feels like it's glued to the road and wants more!
Don(Dfocusin) seemed to be pretty blown away by it when we picked up the coilovers.

Watching Mitch and the guys from Status was pretty funny at the hanger... and as always Mitch managed not to walk away empty handed!

i was wondering about your exhaust, isnt it restrictive to have a 180º bend there?, couldnt you use other kind of muffler that has the outlet on the other side, that way it would be kinda linear flow, just wondering i dont work for magnaflow or anything

So most of the shots of the car itself didn't turn out as i'd like. i'll be sure to use a tripod next time. apparently I shake like a 90y/o Parkinson victim or if you prefer, an epileptic watching Anime or a Japanese game show!
oddly the vast majority of the shots i took hanging the camera out the passenger side did and there are a few really clear shots and a few nice effects. keep in mind these are raw shots and i'm no photog!

anyways...

while these are all basically the same shot, i really like how the different back grounds and lighting on the fender/door....

a few of the others look ok but just don't show the detail i'd like...
