i gotta say these are so much nicer than the Recaro and Sparco Carbon/kevlar seats we have in our race cars. fit and finish is top notch!

They make FRP Seats at very reasonable prices as well!

it's easier to use a 500hp 930 cab as a pitch car than a 300hp Focus!

no need for those in the Focus right now, i have a set of Sparco EVO2s in there now and they're more than enough for the purpose of the car.
I got a killer deal on these that couldn't be passed up so i grabbed them!
Unless they are going to give me another set for my Focus, i'll probably be sticking the the EVO2s.

The company name definitely leaves no room for question. these seats come with insane street cred in the VW/Audi scene. i have to admit, they are a damn fine seat, my only gripe is the camlock on the belts is attached to the anti-sub belt where as i'd prefer to have it on one of the lap belts for street use. after talking with Shawn at Status earlier today, that sounds more like an issue of regulations for current FIA approval than anything else. but it's something they will be looking into for the future.

how do these compare to the EVOs comfort-wise? I have heard that the status seats are MEGA comfortable.

well the Ring GT is the "BIG" seat but i find it smaller than an EVO2 in the hips.
as far as comfort, it's hard to tell only having sat in them on the floor in my living room. the seat fits differently from an EVO2 and i'm to large in the shoulders and hips to fit an EVO.

all that said, the seats are SUPER comfy for the limited time i have sat in them. there car is a ways away from being on the road but i expect these to be much more comfortable than my EVOs
