Thanks, I mainly went with the red because of how attention grabbing it is.
Feels a little safer knowing every one sees you. Feels kinda cool when your cruising down the road and everyone turns their head to look.

Oh yeah the price is great, but was far from the selling point for me.
The bike makes a great commuter aside from the lack of storage. You can save a ton of money on gas just riding to work, and arive grinning from ear to ear . I no longer feel the need for caffene in the mornings, the bike wakes me up just fine. Plus, did I mention that is just looks sweet. Do yourself a favor and visit your local kawasaki dealer and sit on a new Ninja 250 asap.

The bike looks awesome. The new ones look super aggressive and I love that look. If I could afford to drop the coin on a new one I would have, but I'd say the 86-87 body style like mine is second favorite to the '08+:

Sweet bike, love the color. I love the way the 1st gen looks like too, but ive never seen one around here, must be pretty rare.
I was not really planing on buying a new one. I searched for a couple of months for a used one, but most of the ones I found were overpriced, beat on/ and or , layed down. I found one I wanted to buy, it was an 05 with 6k miles for 1800 on craigslist. I tried to call the guy at least 20 times over the course of several days but got the busy signal. I even drove around looking for it but never found it. I was pretty bummed about it so I went and got a new one. ![]() BTW Is that the stock location for the front turn signals or did you put them there, either way it looks sick, kinda like the bike has fangs.

Yeah that was the idea
. The signals are usually on the sides of it sticking out like sore thumbs...A friend of mine borrowed the bike and laid it down so in the repair process I had the guy shave the stock turn signal holes. Glad you like it--you'll love yours. They're so maneuverable.

Oh yeah love my little ninja, ive put about 400 miles on her this week.
Took it out to some real tight twistys on a mountain road this morning, the little bike surprised me . Ive heard that the stock tires are junk on these bikes, but after I put a few miles on them I haven't had any problems with traction. The best part about it is hearing that little motor scream.![]() Also I calculated my mpg when I filled up today, 51mpg riding it hard.
